During the weekend of July 27-28th, we completed our July Open Campus. This month we were happy to welcome about 40 high school students to the department for another addition to our renewed open campus activities. A lot of information was shared about our new course curriculum with interesting presentations from recent graduates and current students regarding their university-life experiences. The interactive workshops gave students an opportunity to learn about the three department courses, working together with current student volunteers to answer various questions. The sessions ended with high schoolers and volunteer students discussing various concerns and questions they have regarding university life.
